| 7.9% accomplished in the first year: Organization Expansion Programme needs to be reviewed |

At the 2nd Central Executive Committee on 13 November Rengo discussed the countermeasures to respond to current problems and confirmed the 98 Spring Offensive Basic Plan to be proposed to the Central Committee. It also examined the report on the achievement of the Organizing Expansion Programme. Rengo's Organizing Expansion Programme has set 1.1 million as the target increase within the next three years: however, Rengo has increased its membership by 87,409 members in the first year, which corresponds to 7.9% of the target. The Report concluded that it was necessary to review the Programme and strengthen its activities by all means. |
