Every union should adopt a resolution for the implementation of Rengo's proposal for the Labour Standards Law revision (27 February 1998) |
Rengo's Central Executive Committee at its 6th meeting on 12 February 1998 adopted a counterproposal against the GovernmentÕs Bill of the Labour Standards Law revision that had been approved the Cabinet Council on 10 February. In response to the adoption, Rengo appeals to all the unions through its affiliates and local Rengos to make an effort actualizing Rengo's counterproposal. This appeal invites each individual union under the umbrella of Rengo to adopt a resolution concerning the implementation of Rengo's counterproposal against the GovernmentÕs Bill at its decision-making body and send it back to Rengo Headquarters. After collecting all the resolutions across the country, a collective petition will be submitted under the signature of President Washio to both Houses of the Diet in the first week of April. |
