Deliberation Begun on Bill for Labor Standards Law and RENGO Continues Counteractions (1 May 1998) |
Deliberation begun in the Diet, with the gist accounting and general interpellations in the House of Councillors, to discuss the bill for Labor Standards Law on 21 April. On 22 April, Labour Minister accounted for the bill for the Labor Standards Law in the Labour Committee of the House of Councillors, and on the following 24 April, general interpellations by the parties, deliberation continued on 28 April. RENGO encourages Diet members in the Labour Committee of the opposition parties which heads for own bill based on the RENGO's one, namely, the Democratic Party, the New Peace Party, the Reformers' Network Party, and the Liberal Party, and even of the government parties those sympathize RENGO's proposal, namely, the Liberal Democratic Party and the New Party Sakigake. |
