On May 1st, RENGO held its 71st May Day Central Rally in beautiful sunshine at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo.
Approximately 100,000 working comrades gathered at the Central Rally Ceremony under the slogan "Rise up for Reformation and Revive Japan's Livelihood!"
Prior to the ceremony, approximately 22,000 people joined the "Collective Demonstration for Reformation" divided up into two groups. Participants appealed to citizens holding placards that read, "Create Jobs," "No to Downsizing!" "Stop Check-Off Banning!," etc.
